The Polish photographer Wilhelm Brasse, who was ordered to take thousands of portraits at the former concentration and extermination camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau, is the focus of a new book.
Brasse, who died in 2012, was imprisoned at Auschwitz in April 1940.
Anna Dobrowolska made a documentary film about Brasse in 2005.
Wednesday November 20th she launched her book Photographer from Auschwitz in Warsaw.
Both interviews with Brasse and the images are shown in the book.
