Can I re-enter Poland after appyling for residency permit? Poland Inside, March 13, 2024April 6, 2024 This is one of the most wondered questions, so I am just going to walk you throught what is going to happen if you have applied for a residency permit and you have got your passport stamped with the red stamp then you leave Poland to your own country and you want to come back to Poland. This red stamp indicates; where you have applied for the residency (which region/voivodeship), the date you have applied. And makes your stay official in Poland until (if) your residency permit is issued. Please read more about residency permit here. Procedure for entering Poland is like every other country. You go to the passport/id control by the “Border Guard”, they will be asking for your passport or your id then they will check it. Depending on your document’s credibility you will be asked a few questions. At this point while the Border Guard is checking your passport they will see that you have applied for a residency permit. First of all they will ask you if you have a valid resident card / residency permit. So now I presume that you do not, since you are reading this post. Therefore you respond accordingly “No i do not.”. Now this situation that you do not have a residency permit / resident card will not constitute a problem as long as you have a valid visa or you are eligiable to enter Poland with your passport without a visa. What does it mean to be eligiable to enter Poland only with your passport without a visa? (Non-EU) Some countries have different passport types. Which can be named differently depending on the country but general names are; Special Passport Service Passport Diplomatic Passport Out of these passports most common ones are the “Special” and “Service” passports. And these passports can allow a person to enter a country which normally requires visa from origin country but with the power of these passports they do not require visa for your stay of a certain time. Poland Inside I hope your questions are answered through this post 🙂 Maybe there is more you want to know about situation etc., in this case please contact me.
